It reads QR codes and 16 barcode formats, shows where a link really goes before it opens, joins Wi-Fi in one tap, and makes QR codes and barcodes. Scanning works offline, there is no account, and scans stay on the phone.

What it does
- Scans QR codes and 16 barcode formats (Micro QR, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, ISBN, Code 128, Code 39, Code 93, ITF, ITF-14, Codabar, GS1 DataBar, Data Matrix, PDF417, Aztec) with the camera, from photos and screenshots, or by typing the number.
- Shows the real address of a link before it opens, with a warning for look-alike letters, hidden redirects, the @ trick, bare IP addresses and installer files. It never labels a link "safe".
- Joins a Wi-Fi network from its QR code in one tap.
- Opens contacts, events, phone numbers, email, SMS, maps and UPI payment codes the right way.
- Shows a product's name and photo when it is listed, and for food the health grade (A to E), sugar, fat and salt levels and how processed it is, from Open Food Facts.
- Makes static QR codes for link, text, Wi-Fi, contact (vCard), email, phone, SMS, event, place; social codes for WhatsApp, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Telegram; and barcodes: EAN-13, UPC-A, UPC-E, EAN-8, Code 128, Code 39, Code 93, ITF-14, ITF, Codabar, Data Matrix, PDF417, Aztec.
- Batch scan and stock count, history with folders, CSV export and import (opens in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets), print and SVG export.
- A Scan control for Control Center, the Lock Screen and the Action button.
What it does not do
- No dynamic QR codes: every code it makes is static, so it never expires and never needs a subscription to keep working.
- No allergen, gluten, halal or price checks. The food grade comes from Open Food Facts and is a guide, not medical advice.
- No account, no cloud sync and no web dashboard. History lives on the phone.
- No third-party ad networks. The app may show small cards for our own products.
Privacy, in plain words
- Scans, history, folders and the codes you make stay in the app's storage on your iPhone. There is no account and no server holding them.
- The camera and photos are only used to read codes, on the phone. Photos are not uploaded.
- When you scan a product barcode, only the number is sent to Open Food Facts to look the product up.
- Link previews load the scanned website (you can turn previews off).
- Anonymous usage stats and crash reports (no names, no scan contents) go to PostHog in the EU to fix bugs; you can turn them off in Settings.
- No advertising ID (IDFA) and no tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
- Nothing you scan is sent to us, and your data is never sold.
